Greetings~ We have many friends who have began to use this blog thing. I love reading about our friends and hearing what is going on in their life, so we thought we would jump on board. Everyday I am amazed by how quickly our kids are growing up. Today I took Macie to a baby shower for a friend and was reminded of how exciting life was almost 6 years ago when Micah was about to be born. Now 6 years later our youngest is three years old and definately keeps us on our toes. As I sat at this baby shower I looked around at all the people who were there to support this new mom and baby and was also reminded of all the people that have played such a crucial part in our families lives. Family and friends are an amazing gift from God. I just wish we could spend more time with all of you.
Micah's 6th birthday is coming up next week and the plans for a soccer party are underway. We anticipate around 20 kids coming. A couple of soccer players from Crown are going to play games with the kids. Micah is just counting down the days.
Micah and Morgan are on the same soccer team this year which has been very entertaining. They one their second game today with Micah scoring the game winning goal. Micah is doing very well and might be a little too competitive for his age. I wonder where he gets that. Morgan could care less whether they win or lose. Actually, she could care less whether she even kicks the ball. It is fun to have them on the same team. After the first game Micah said to me, "Mom, I did not do very well today because Morgan kept talking to me and distracting me." We have now tried to convince him he needs to be patient with her and help her to get better. Before we know it Macie will be playing on their team too.
Well, for being the first time I sure did have lots to say.
